How many rooms are in the average hotel in Los Angeles?

I’m writing a Buffy, the Vampire Slayer/Angel: the Series fan fiction based in The Hyperion Hotel. The problem is, they never say how many rooms there are. Angel’s room is 312 and there’s six floor, including the basement, but that’s all I know about it. So…I’m basing it on the average hotel in LA. Do any of you know how many rooms per a floor there are in the average hotel in LA?

It really depends on where your staying LA.

If your talking about Downtown LA it would be maybe somewhere between 300-400 rooms, with 12 floors.

If your talking about Hollywood it would be something similar but smaller 200-300 rooms, with 8 floors.

Or maybe your talking about a suburb, 100-200 rooms, with 6 floors.

Go ahead and make up something. It could be anywhere from six to thirty, depending upon whether you want single rooms or suites.

The Hyperion is actually the Los Altos apartments on Wilshire Bl. It has either 67 or 75 units, I’ve read both, it’s an H shaped building, when seen from above.

    Los Altos Apartments:

Now one bedrooms rent for about $2000, 2 bedrooms rent for about $3000. There are lots of photos of the Los Altos on Google images.

    Good luck with the fanfic!
